Here, you will find answers to the most common questions you may have during your experience with ELICITYL.  If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact us directly through our contact form.

You can get a quote by contacting us through our contact form and selecting the subject Ask for a quote. Remember to give us the product codes and quantities needed. A member of our staff will contact you quickly with a quote.

You can also create a quote on our website by using the cart and then selecting Turn this cart into a quote. You will then have access to the quote once you have registered with your ELICITYL account. Some of the products cannot be added to your cart and require you to contact us directly.

Our scientists are available for any technical question. Please use the contact form and select the subject Ask for a scientist, we will provide you with the information requested.

ELICITYL offers several ways to search for products on its website:

  • By browsing the product categories
  • By name using the search bar. You can choose whether to display functionalized glycans or not
  • By CAS number using the search bar
  • By structure, using the “Search by Structure” feature
  • By product code. The first six characters indicate the glycan type; the rest specify purity or functionalization.

On the results page, you can further filter your search depending on whether you’re looking for a free molecule or a specific type of functionalized molecule.

Each product page includes a drop-down menu showing all available functionalization options.

ELICITYL is eager to help you to register our company in your supplier system. Please ask us for the necessary documents through our contact form. A member of our staff will reply quickly with the requested information.

You can order and pay directly by credit card on our website by adding products to your shopping cart. You can choose to ask for an invoice by selecting: Pay later by bank transfer / by invoice, and pay 30 days later.

You can order by sending your purchase order or an email of confirmation of your order on our contact form and selecting the subject Place an order. An invoice with 30 days payment terms will be issued at the time of shipping unless otherwise agreed.

For a smoother ordering process, please provide us with: 

  • Shipping address with a contact name, email and telephone number
  • Invoice address with the email address for sending the invoice
  • VAT number for companies from the European union
  • Purchase Order number (not necessary)
  • If you prefer to use your own carrier for shipping, kindly advise and provide us with your account number when ordering. ELICITYL will not charge you the shipping and handling fees.

ELICITYL ships orders directly worldwide. However, if you prefer to order through a distributor, we have a wide distribution network.
Please consult the following page which includes contact details of our current distributors. We can also work with the distributor of your choice to send the products to your country.

ELICITYL is open to new distributor opportunities. So do not hesitate to get in touch with us through our contact form if you wish to distribute our products.

ELICITYL does not require prepayment prior to shipping unless otherwise agreed.
To allow for a smooth payment process, ELICITYL offers secure payment possibilities: 

  • Bank transfer in Euros. Our bank details are indicated on the last page of the invoice you will receive.
  • Credit Card (except American Express) on our website. We sometimes encounter difficulties with payment by credit card, please try again or check your funds. If necessary, please contact us.
  • Credit card payment via a secure payment link. Simply request it, and a staff member will provide you with a secure link to process your payment.

Most of our products are in stock and are generally shipped between 1 and 3 working days after receiving the order (expected shipping date and available stock are indicated in the product pages). If the products are not in stock, we will get in touch with you with the expected shipping date.

The orders are shipped all around the world using FedEx international priority express We also have accounts with other carriers (UPS, DHL, …) which can be used on request.

If you prefer to use your own account kindly advise and provide us with your account number when ordering. ELICITYL will not charge you the shipping and handling fees.

To allow for a speedy clearance, we provide customs with all the necessary documents. Due to recent delays, we encourage you to actively monitor your shipment as additional information from the importer is regularly being requested. You may also consider calling FedEx to help speed up delivery.

We will provide you with the FedEx tracking number at the time of shipping.

The majority of our products are in freeze-dried form (powder state). They should be stored at room temperature in a dry and dark place (in a box for example) with the vial tightly closed.

The usually recommended reconstitution of our product is in water or PBS or HEPES buffer with solubility conditions ranging from 1 to 10 g/L. 

For amounts of 1 mg or less, we recommend solubilizing the entire sample directly in the vial and mixing thoroughly.

Once reconstituted, the products should be stored in the freezer at -20°C or -80°C. You should only take the products out of the freezer when using them, as room temperature is not the appropriate temperature for long-term conservation.

The majority of our products are very stable over time when stored in our facilities. As we are not in control of how a product is handled after it has left our facilities, we recommend using the compound within 3 years after reception.

The quantity ordered and indicated on the vial is a minimum guaranteed quantity and is not intended to be a precise measurement. The product should be weighed and then solubilized to the desired concentration.

The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS or SDS) and the Specification Sheet can be downloaded from the corresponding product pages. They can also be requested via our contact form.

The Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided in paper format with your order and can also be requested in PDF format via our contact form.

Purity levels are usually shown on our COA (e.g., > 90%). For analytical purposes, you can request the exact batch purity via our contact form. Please include the product code and batch number.
