OUR APPROACH IS BASED ON COMPLEMENTARY ANALYTICAL TECHNOLOGIES
- High performance anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection HPAEC-PAD (HPAEC-PAD, Dionex-Thermo Fisher Scientific) coupled to appropriate column (Carbopack PA1, PA10, PA100, MA1) for identification and quantification of monosaccharides and oligomer composition of complex carbohydrates. This technology enables direct quantification of nonderivatized carbohydrates at picomole levels with minimal sample preparation.
- High performance liquid chromatography with ELSD coupled to state-of-the-art appropriate columns for identification and quantification of oligomers and of detection of impurities
- Nuclear magnetic resonance (1H- and 13 C-NMR) 400 MHz for structure characterization
- Quantitative NMR based on a qualified internal standard for purity characterization
