Fucosylated oligosaccharides

Elicityl offers a range of fucosylated oligosaccharides produced by bacterial fermentation. These molecules are based on two core structures: Lactose or 3-Fucosyllactose. Most of these oligosaccharides are part of the Human Milk Oligosaccharide series (1).

Fucosylated oligosaccharides and Human milk oligosaccharides play a role in innate protection of infant against neonatal infections. Report shows their implication to reduce diarrhea due to E. coli (2). Another report class them as prebiotic and bifidogenic agent (3).
